At this time, 7 April 2008, there was a lot of fuss made about the training runs for the upcoming WSMR trains between Banbury and Marylebone with class 67 locomotives, but very little said about the blue & grey single unit also running in the Birmingham area. I much prefer bubble cars to 67s so made the effort to go out and to get a shot of it which is here seen approaching the outskirts of Balsall Common, between Coventry and Birmingham International stations.
